The
official channel of CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD has released a new
trailer for its upcoming Divinez Deluxe Final Arc, the wrap-up
phase of the current TV anime. The trailer features the decision of Akina
Myodo, the protagonist, to participate in the finals of the
"Deluxe" tournament, an event that will determine the strongest
player in VANGUARD.
Morfonica
returns with "Feathered Dreams" as the main theme
The opening
song of the new arc will be "Feathered Dreams", performed
by the rock band Morfonica, belonging to the multimedia
universe BanG Dream!. This will be the third song that
the musical group contributes to the CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD, after
"Fateful..." and "Ryouyoku no Brilliance". The single will
be released in physical format in Japan in August 2025, and will
become the group's eighth official CD.
The
premiere is scheduled for July 5
The
broadcast of the final arc will begin on July 5, 2025 in
Japan. The series continues to feature CLAMP as responsible
for the original character designs, while Kinema Citrus continues to be
in charge of animated production.
This arc is
part of the third installment of the "D Series", preceded
by CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress and will+Dress.
The Divinez anime originally premiered on January 13,
2024, with successive seasons spanning from January to December 2025.
What is
the final arc titled "Deluxe" about?
According
to the official synopsis, after the events of the "Battle of
Destiny", Akina leads a quiet life, until she receives an
invitation to the Deluxe tournament. This new challenge tests their
motivation and skills, as a mysterious mentor appears to question their true
purpose: "What do you really play VANGUARD for?"
