The
publisher Manga Planet has confirmed this Saturday the
licensing of manga titles for their release in print
format in English language. These releases will be available
exclusively through Kinokuniya USA during their initial
distribution, marking an important step from the digital platform to the
physical edition.
Here and
There and Us, the love between opposites
Among the
titles announced is Thanat's Here and There and Us,
which will have two volumes. This story tells the unexpected
connection between Majima, the popular boy in the class, and Sonoki,
a reserved student. When Majima discovers a tender and vulnerable side in
Sonoki, she begins to look for excuses to get closer to him... but their paths
diverge as they change course.
The
Farthest Love in the World, a bond through silence
The second
title is The Farthest Love in the World, by Mitsuaki Asou.
The manga presents the story of Ayumu Isuzu, a deaf young man who
lives in a world without sound, and Touka, a musician who appears
beaten on his way. Through sign language and music, you will both discover new
ways to communicate and heal.
KOH-BOKU,
a romantic comedy between civil servants
The third
title is KOH-BOKU, by Sonoo Michiru. In this
romantic comedy, Tasuku Kashiwagi and Kyu Imamiya work
as civil servants in the Ministry of Economy. Imamiya insists that his partner
needs to make friends and find a partner, but what he doesn't expect is that
Kashiwagi is already obsessed with him, taking care of him as if he were her
husband.
Exclusive
U.S. Launch
The titles
will be available exclusively on Kinokuniya USA during its
first phase of release. Although no specific dates have been confirmed, this
commitment to the physical format represents a unique opportunity for fans
of boys' love and indie manga who wish to support the official
publication in English.
