A story of magic, teaching and second chances

The story revolves around Allen, a young sorcerer who fails the exam to enter the royal court and ends up looking for a quiet life in the countryside. However, his financial situation forces him to accept a job as a private tutor to the daughter of one of the most powerful nobles in the kingdom, Duke Howard.

His student, Tina Howard, is brilliant but unable to perform magic, an essential requirement for entry into the prestigious Royal Academy. With the exams getting closer, Allen must use his unusual style of sorcery to solve a mystery that not even the best wizards in the kingdom have been able to unravel.
