The
official website of the new anime based on Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma
1/2 manga has revealed the first trailer for its second season,
along with a new promotional image, more confirmed actors, and the update from
the production team.
A legend
who returns after 32 years
One of the
most emotional announcements is the return of Toshihiko Seki to
play Mousse again, a role he played in the original series
more than three decades ago. Along with him, the following join the
cast:

Renewed cast and familiar faces
In addition
to the return of multiple classic voices, such as Kōichi Yamadera (Ryōga
Hibiki and Jusenkyo's guide), Minami Takayama (Nabiki Tendō),
and Kikuko Inoue (Kasumi Tendō), the anime adds new talents in
iconic roles:

Ōtsuka will be
the new voice of Sōun Tendō, while Chō will
play Genma Saotome, replacing Kenichi Ogata, who now
narrates the story in place of the late Tadashi Nakamura.
Creative
team and exclusive premiere
The new
anime is directed by Kōnosuke Uda (One Piece: Dead End)
at MAPPA studio. Kimiko Ueno (Delicious in
Dungeon) writes the script, while Hiromi Taniguchi is in
charge of character design. In the musical section, Ano will
perform the opening theme "Iinazukekkyun" and
singer-songwriter Riria will give voice to the ending
song "Anta Nante".
The
premiere of the second season is scheduled for October 2025 on the
NTV channel and its affiliates in Japan, with exclusive broadcast to
the rest of the world through Netflix.
The first
episode will air on October 6 at 00:55 a.m. (UTC+2), marking
the official return of one of the most beloved franchises in classic anime.
