Through its
official networks, the first art of a series of twelve monthly
illustrations inspired by the signs of the zodiac was
presented, starting with Mahiru representing the sign Gemini.
The
illustration was done by renowned character designer Mieko Hosoi,
known for her work on Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju and Fate/Grand
Order: Divine Realm of the Round Table - Camelot. In this piece, Mahiru
appears with a dual expression that symbolizes the versatile nature of the
Gemini sign, all under a delicate artistic style that captivated followers.
Season
Two Still on the Way
The second
season of the anime is currently in production, although an official
premiere date has not yet been confirmed. This installment will
continue with the adaptation of the light novels written by Saeki-san,
promising more sweet moments between Mahiru and Amane.
The first
season was directed by Lihua Wang and produced by the
Project No.9 studio. The composition was in charge of Keiichiro
Ochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) and the character design
was the work of Takayuki Noguchi (Higehiro).
A story
of everyday romance
Its
synopsis is: To thank a kind gesture, Mahiru cooks and cleans for his
messy neighbor Amane. What started as a token of gratitude soon transforms into
a sweet love story between a boy and the girl next door.
With this
new visual proposal based on the signs of the zodiac, the creative team
of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten continues to
strengthen ties with its fans, while the wait for the second season becomes a
little more bearable.
