The
renowned mangaka Yuama, author of the acclaimed series The
Summer You Were There, has announced the launch of her new manga
titled Tayutau Koi no Chirigawa ni (translated as The
Last Fleeting Moments of a Whimsical Love). The premiere is scheduled
for August 18 in the Yuri Hime Comic magazine
of the Ichijinsha publishing house.
The work
will publish a new chapter every two months and promises to
explore the most intense feelings between two central figures of a female
school: the "princess" and the "prince".
According to the synopsis revealed by the magazine, everything will begin with
a secret meeting after a love disappointment, giving way to a story
full of contained emotions and unexpected bonds.
A new
step in the career of a prominent author
Yuama
debuted with Kimi to Tsuzuru Utakata (The Summer You Were
There) in May 2020, which he finished in December 2023. Ichijinsha published
its sixth and final compilation volume in February 2024, while Seven
Seas Entertainment was in charge of the English version, the final
volume of which arrived on January 28.
Among
Yuama's other notable works is the manga The Girl I Want Is So
Handsome! (Ikemen Sugidesu Shiki-senpai!), also published in Comic
Yuri Hime between 2018 and 2019, and collected in a single omnibus
volume by Seven Seas in January 2022.
Yuama
also participates in the universe of BanG Dream!
In addition
to his original works, Yuama is currently in charge of a spin-off manga from
the popular multimedia project BanG Dream!. His BanG Dream!
It's MyGo!!!!: Ame ni Soyoide Hare wo Kou was launched in December
2024 through the Comic Growl site, and is available in both
Japanese and English.
This manga
reinterprets the events of the anime BanG Dream! It's MyGo!!!! from
the point of view of the character Soyo, and its first volume was
published by Kadokawa on May 8.
