This year's 15th issue of Hana to Yume magazine, published by Hakusensha, revealed on July 4 that the manga Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? will have an official spin-off titled Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? F/ACE Off Stage!. This new installment will be in charge of Uzu Natsumo and will be published in the special edition of The Hana to Yume Numa magazine, with a release date scheduled for July 26 in Japan (UTC+9), which corresponds to 5:00 p.m. on July 25 in Spain (UTC+2).

The story will focus on the chaotic and energetic day-to-day life of the boyband F/ACE, a fictional group within the manga's original universe. This new approach promises to show a lighter, comedic and everyday side of the group, complementing the drama and emotion of the main title.

A phenomenon that does not stop growing

The original manga, created by Yuki Shiwasu — also known for her work Takane & Hana — debuted in October 2021 within the same magazine. Since then, Tamon's B-Side has gained great recognition among readers, to the point of being nominated for Best Shōjo Manga at the 47th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2023. In addition, it was ranked number 9 on the list of most recommended manga for readers in Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023 guide.

What is Tamon's B-Side about?

Viz Media, which licenses the manga in English, describes the main story as follows: "Tamon is a mess of real-life insecurities, and the worst part is that he threatens to abandon his career. Utage, a devoted fan, isn't about to let anything or anyone—not even himself—stand in her way. What's a fan to do but roll up her sleeves and wholeheartedly support her favorite singer?"

An anime adaptation already on the way

The Tamon's B-Side universe continues to expand. In addition to the upcoming spin-off, it was confirmed that the manga will inspire an anime adaptation that is scheduled to premiere in January 2026. With all these announcements, it is clear that the story of Tamon and company still has a lot to offer.
