Kazusa Inaoka, author of i tell c, announces new manga for September

Shogakukan's Big Comic Original magazine revealed in its 17th issue that mangaka Kazusa Inaoka, known for being the author of i tell c, will launch a new series provisionally titled Ikenai Futari (translated as The Two Who Don't Fit). The debut is scheduled for September 20, 2025, in the magazine's 19th issue.


The premise of the story


The plot will follow a man and a woman who, after promising marriage, unexpectedly end up sharing the same house, which will begin a cohabitation full of unexpected situations.


The author's journey


Inaoka finished his i tell c manga in June 2021, following its publication in Weekly Shonen Jump since February of the same year. The work concluded with a total of three volumes, published in English digitally by Viz Media and MANGA Plus.


In 2018, the author premiered Kimi wo Shinryakuseyo! (Invade You) in Shonen Jump GIGA magazine, later moving to Weekly Shonen Jump. However, the series ended in September of the same year.


Manga expectations


With this new proposal, Kazusa Inaoka seeks to consolidate her style in a different genre, exploring couple dynamics and coexistence comedy. The announcement has generated great expectation among fans of his previous work.
