Wednesday, the official account of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic
Dengeki Daioh magazine reported that mangaka Shino passed
away in June of this year. The author was working on his most recent
work, Boku to Gyaru ga Fūfu ni Naru Made, which was currently being
published in the pages of the magazine.
A career
marked by his latest work
The manga
began serialization in December 2022 and quickly gained
attention for its romantic premise and art style. Kadokawa released
the first compilation volume in August 2023, followed by the second
in September 2024. Although his story is now unfinished, Shino's
work managed to connect with a loyal audience in a very short time.
