The anime
adaptation of the Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love! manga, the
work of mamakari, revealed on August 28 a new trailer, a
promotional illustration, part of the additional cast and details of the
musical themes that will accompany the series.
The
premiere in Japan is scheduled for October 6, 2025, while Crunchyroll confirmed
its simulcast broadcast for Spain and Latin America as part of the fall
2025 anime season.
New cast

Along with
the announcement, the actors who will give life to new characters were
revealed:
- Saki Tamai will be played by Akari
Kitō.
- Hiroki Maezono will be voiced by Tomokazu
Sugita.
- Yutaka Shigemori will be voiced by Takuya
Eguchi.
- Masahiko Hosoi will be played by Eiji
Takeuchi.
Songs
The
group GANG PARADE will perform the opening theme titled "Happy
Yummy Lucky Yummy." For his part, Yuma Uchida, who
voices the protagonist Keisuke Yuki, will perform the ending under
the name "Watashi de Yokkata!!" ("I'm glad
to be me!").

The anime
is directed by Kazuomi Koga at the Marvy Jack studio. Aya
Watatane is in charge of the composition of the series, Atsuko
Takahashi designs the characters, while the music is in charge
of Satoshi Hono and Kaori Nakano. The original
manga is published digitally in NTT Solmare's Koisuru
Soirée magazine.
Yumeko's
History
