Shueisha's Grand
Jump Mucha magazine published on Wednesday the final chapter of the
manga Koko wa Ima kara Rinri Desu, the work of Shiori
Amase. With this, the series reaches its conclusion after almost eight
years in circulation. The publisher confirmed that the tenth and final
compilation volume will be released in November 2025 in
Japan.
History
focused on ethics and student life
The plot
follows Professor Takayanagi, who employs the principles of ethics
to guide his students around their doubts, inner conflicts, and life prospects.
This premise made manga a different proposal within the school genre.
Trajectory
from its premiere to its closing
The work
began in October 2016 within Grand Jump Premium magazine,
which was later renamed Grand Jump Mucha in December 2018.
Its ninth volume was published in May 2024, paving
the way for its final outcome.
Adaptations
and other works by Amase
The manga
inspired a live-action series in 2021, expanding its
recognition off the pages. On the other hand, Shiori Amase is also remembered
for her work All Out!!, published between 2012 and 2019, which
received an anime adaptation broadcast in October 2016. This series
was distributed in the West through Crunchyroll and Funimation,
in addition to having a physical release in 2018.
