The highly
anticipated anime With You, Our Love Will Make It Through, based on
the manga by Chihiro Yuzuki, has revealed a second trailer that not
only confirms its release date of October 14, but also introduces a
new cast member and their opening theme song.
A new
face and opening music
Voice
actress Ai Kakuma, known for playing Albis in That Time I
Got Reincarnated as a Slime, joins the cast as Kisara, a feline
beastfolk-type character. The opening song, titled Kusuguttai, will
be performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks, a well-known musical duo in
the anime world.
Creative
team and plot of the anime
The
production is in charge of the Millepensee studio, with Shin
Itagaki as director and responsible for the composition of the
series. Hiromi Kimura serves as co-director and character
designer, bringing his experience to the table on titles such as I Got
a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too.
The story
is set in the near future where creatures known as beastfolk form a minority
within human society. Tsunagu, a talented beastfolk, arrives in the
class of Mari, a student who lives in a city where humans and
beastfolk coexist with certain tensions.
Although
Mari is initially puzzled by Tsunagu's presence, she is soon attracted to his
goodness and purity. For his part, Tsunagu is fascinated by Mari's strength and
beauty, marked by a "sweet aroma" that she gives off.
A love
that defies barriers
In a world
where beastfolk are segregated behind a wall, the relationship between a human
and a beastfolk generates awe and suspicion. But when love arises between the
two, what future awaits them despite the racial and social differences that
separate them? REMOW has licensed the series, although it has
not yet announced the details of its distribution on streaming platforms.
