The
official website of the anime Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze,
an adaptation of the manga Mikadono San Shimai wa Angai, Choroi by Aya
Hirakawa, confirmed that actress Fūka Izumi is joining the
voice cast. She will play Sakura Yaotome, a high school student and
shogi player who has made it all the way to the final of the tournament. Sakura
will debut in episode 10, scheduled to air next Wednesday, and will
be introduced as Miwa's rival.

The anime
premiered on July 9 on Tokyo MX, Tochigi
TV, Gunma TV, and BS11, and is currently airing
on MBS as well. Internationally, Crunchyroll broadcasts
the series with subtitles and also offers an English dub.
The cast
includes Minami Hinata as Yū Ayase, the protagonist; Yurina
Amami as Kazuki Mikadono, the older sister; Aoi Koga as
Niko Mikadono, the second daughter; and Yoshino Aoyama as Miwa
Mikadono, the youngest of the sisters.
Creative
team behind the work
Tadahito
Matsubayashi directs
the series at P.A. Works, with Yūsuke Inoue in
charge of character design. The scripts are supervised by Takayo Ikami,
the music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama, and Jin Aketagawa serves
as sound director.
About
the story and the original manga
The plot
centers on Yū Ayase, son of Subaru Ayase, a woman admired for her
beauty, intelligence, and athletic abilities. However, Yū only seems to have
inherited his physical attractiveness. After entering a prestigious school, he
is entrusted to the care of a friend of his mother's, moving into the Mikadono family
home. There he begins to live with the three Mikadono sisters, talented young
women but with hidden vulnerabilities.
The manga
began serialization in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine
in December 2021. To date, 15 compilation volumes have
been published, the most recent on July 4. In the international
market, the manga is available in English through emaki and Viz
Media.
