The reward
is about to increase. During the Jump Festa '26 event held
this Saturday, the second promotional video for the second season of Mato
Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) was revealed. The
announcement confirmed that the series will begin airing on January 8,
2026 at 11:00 p.m. on the AT-X channel, followed by broadcasts on
Tokyo MX and BS Asahi.
The event's
setting introduced three new cast members who will bring the members of the
Azuma family to life, expanding the dynamics of the fighting harem:
- Kaori Maeda (Kuroiwa Medaka ni
Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai) as Maia Azuma
- Yuuna
Nemoto (Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau) as Homare
Azuma
- Shiori Izawa (Isekai Meikyuu of
Harem wo) as Tobera Azuma
Changes
in Production and Music
The trailer
teases the opening theme song "Hikari yo, Boku ni." (Light,
Towards Me), performed by Akari Kito (the voice of heroine
Kyouka Uzen). It is important to highlight a major change in the team: this
season is being directed by Masafumi Tamura at the
Passione and Hayabusa Film studios (replacing Seven
Arcs and director Junji Nishimura). Keiya Nakano takes
over character design.
The promo
video shows not only the new characters and battle scenes, but also Yuki's new
"Slave" forms as he is loaned to other captains, plus a look at the
"Banquet" scenes.
