The debate
is over and the hierarchy is maintained. The results of the Dragon Ball
global poll titled "DRAGON BALL THE ONE" have been
officially revealed, confirming what we all suspected: Son Goku is
unrivaled. The protagonist secured first place with a "crushing
victory", leading from the first stage to the end. However, what has
broken the internet is not the winner, but the strange characters who made it
onto the list.
Goku
sweeps, but Bulma's Cat surprises in the results of the Dragon Ball world poll
The Top 5
respected royalty: Vegeta (#2), Gohan (#3), Piccolo (#4)
and Vegito (#5). But when you lower your gaze, the madness
begins. Bulma's Family Cat (yes, the black cat that barely
comes out) achieved an unusual #15 spot, beating out main
characters such as Goten (#16), Chi-Chi (#17) and Videl (#20).
Even Yamcha (#12) managed to beat Bulma (#13), proving that
memes have power.
The
power of "Randoms"
The survey,
which limited participation to 212 characters from the original manga (not
counting Super), saw cult figures enter the ranking. The
legendary Farmer with fight level 5 came in at #23, and even
the Dolphin (#30) and the Mermaid (#31) were on the final list of 81 survivors.
Difference
in taste: Men vs. Women
The
demographics reveal fascinating curiosities:
- Goku was the absolute #1 in
all ages and genders.
- Men (who accounted for 69% of the votes)
showed great love for Bardock, putting him in the Top 5 for
teenagers and children.
- Women preferred the
heartthrob Trunks of the Future, who replaced Vegito in his
Top 5.
- Interestingly, girls under the age of 10 voted massively for Tenshinhan and, again, for Bulma's cat.
