The streaming
giant has hit the table. A historic alliance between Netflix and MAPPA has
been confirmed that will take original productions from the prestigious
Japanese studio to more than 190 countries. It's not just about buying
licenses; Both companies will work hand in hand from the conception of the
stories to merchandising.
The
Future of the Netflix and MAPPA Alliance: Global Original Anime
MAPPA, the studio behind phenomena such
as Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man and Attack
on Titan, seeks with this movement greater independence and international
projection. "We want to support MAPPA's bold creativity and bring new
stories to viewers around the world," said Kaata Sakamoto,
vice president of Netflix.
For his
part, Manabu Otsuka, president of the studio, stressed that the
goal is to build a globally driven business model. Although no specific titles
have been revealed, it is known that there are already multiple projects in the
planning phase.

This
agreement comes in a critical year for the studio, which already has the

the agenda. With the financial and logistical backing of the red "N"
platform, fans can expect top-notch animation quality and simultaneous releases
without region locks.
