The banished
healer has more patients to care for. During the live broadcast of the GA
FES 2026 event held this Sunday, the production of the second
season for the anime adaptation of the light novels The
Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows (Isshun by Chiryō
Shiteita no ni Yakutatazu to Tsuihō Sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer to
Shite Tanoshiku Ikiru) was officially announced.
The announcement
was accompanied by a promotional video and a new visual image.
The first season, animated by the Makaria Inc. studio under
the direction of Joe Yoshizaki, premiered last April, achieving
enough support to guarantee this continuation.
The author's
reaction
Sakaku
Hishikawa, author of the
original work, expressed his surprise and gratitude through a special comment.
"Unbelievable. Truly incredible. The production of the second season has
been decided," Hishikawa commented. The writer humorously recalled his
speech at the end party of the first season, where he said goodbye thinking
that it would be the end, calling this announcement "a wonderful
surprise" thanks to the support of viewers.
