The return
of Alya and Masachika will take longer than expected. The official website for
the second season of Roshidere: Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in
Russian (Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go by Dereru Tonari no Alya-san)
announced Thursday that the premiere of the series has been delayed until 2027.
Originally, the release was scheduled for this year.
According
to the official statement, the decision to postpone production, which was
scheduled for 2026, responds to the need to "further improve the overall
quality" of the work. The production team expressed regret over the
schedule change and reaffirmed their commitment to creating a product that
meets high standards.

About
the work
The second
season will continue to adapt the story from the fourth volume of the light
novels written by Sunsunsun and illustrated by Momoco.
The romantic comedy follows the dynamic between Masachika Kuze and Alya, who
often mumbles affectionate words in Russian believing that he does not
understand her, unaware that Masachika has a native level of listening in that
language.
