with supernatural touches continue to gain space on television. The animation
label Deregula, belonging to WWWave Corporation, announced this
Friday the production of the anime of Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san (Kamui-San
Directly Behind You), whose premiere is scheduled for the summer of
2026.
Along with the opening of an official account on X (formerly Twitter), the project's logo was revealed, and commemorative artwork made by the original creators was shared to celebrate the news.

Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san
The manga,
written by Eroki and illustrated by Shinko Konoshiro,
began serialization on the Ura Sunday and MangaONE services
in March 2020. The work has reached the milestone of 1 million copies
in circulation. Shogakukan published volume 11 in August
2025, and volume 12 will go on sale on February 19.
The story
follows Shizuka, a normal high school student with the ability to
see ghosts. Due to his peculiar tendency to attract spirits, he works as an
assistant to Kamui, a famous psychic. Although Kamui prides himself
on his top-notch skills, his methods for exorcising ghosts are quite unusual
and risqué.
