Yuri Anime I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day Reveals Its First Trailer

The Yuri dark fantasy genre is preparing for one of its most anticipated adaptations. The production team of the anime of I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day (Kimi ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai) presented its first promotional video on Wednesday, confirming that the series will premiere next July.


The series is produced by the ROLL2 studio and adapts Nachi Aono's original manga. Along with the trailer, the technical team's list of credits was updated, revealing those in charge of visual design and sound direction.

The general direction is in the hands of Yasushi Tomoda, with script supervision by Jukki Hanada (known for Girls Band Cry and Love Live!). The character design falls to Kyouko Yufu.


Voice cast


The protagonists will have the performances of renowned voice actresses:


  • Laugh Takahashi as Sheena Totsuki
    Famous for Megumin in KonoSuba and Emilia in Re:Zero.
  • Rina Hidaka as Mimi Kagari
    Known for Milim Nava in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
  • Asami Seto as Lizzy Seiran.
  • Yui Ishikawa as Ali Maud

About the work


The story takes place in a mysterious orphanage where death is a daily occurrence for its residents: girls raised as weapons of war. Sheena, who just wants the conflict to end, meets Mimi, a girl covered in blood who smiles in the midst of the chaos. Rumors say that Mimi is an immortal secret weapon. When the two become roommates, Sheena's world becomes complicated by living with someone who loves death, while she only seeks to stop it.


The manga began publication in Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2018 before moving to online services. Ichijinsha published the eighth compilation volume in March 2025.
