About
the franchise
The plot
follows Dias, a military veteran who, after spending years on the
battlefield, returns home as a decorated hero. As a reward for his services, he
receives a vast territory to rule. However, when he arrives, he discovers that
his domain is a huge empty plain without a single inhabitant. Accustomed only
to the discipline of the army, he feels lost in the task of founding a
civilization, until the encounter with Alna, a young woman with a
distinctive blue horn, shows him the true hidden potential of his new lands.
The
original story, written by Fuurou and illustrated by Kinta,
began web publication in January 2018 before making the leap to print. The work
inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Yumbo, which currently
has fourteen volumes in circulation, propelling the franchise to surpass the
mark of two million copies sold worldwide.
