Conquering human souls sounds like an intimidating task, unless love gets in the way. The animated adaptation of the fun rom-com Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy (known in Japan as Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi) released its long-awaited main trailer accompanied by a new promotional poster. The footage confirmed that this sweet and chaotic story will debut on the small screen on April 4.

The fun trailer served as a platform to give us a taste of the musical proposal of the series. The rock band Faulieu will be in charge of injecting energy at the beginning of each episode with their opening theme entitled "Hatsukoi Moment". For its part, the VTubers group Asagiri Koko will set the pace at the end of the chapters with the song (ending) called "Pop, Snack, Junk na HUNNY".

Details about Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy

The KAI studio is responsible for bringing magic and embarrassing situations to animation. The main director's chair is occupied by Yasushi Muroya (who has previously worked on episodes of BLUELOCK and Fairy Tail), with the support of Hisashi Isogawa as assistant director. Rintaro Ikeda is overseeing the scripts for the series, while the colorful character designs are adapted by Akari Minagawa.

What is the story about?

The premise follows Kanan, a powerful demon who has infiltrated human society by adopting the appearance of a high school student with a single, dark purpose: to devour delicious souls. She quickly fixes her gaze on a boy in her class who seems to be the perfect victim.

However, his evil plans fail miserably. Before she has a chance to make any demonic moves, a series of misunderstandings causes her to end up becoming his formal girlfriend. For Kanan, who had never experienced love in his life, this new relationship will be full of completely embarrassing situations, first feelings and total chaos trying to maintain his terrifying façade.
