Pretending to be the most useless prince in the empire while secretly being one of the best adventurers on the continent is the kind of double life that political fantasy anime has been perfecting. The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for the Throne released its second trailer revealing the season's theme songs and confirming the premiere for July 6, 2026. The video also features a new key visual featuring the twin princes and main heroines.

The opening "Script" is by the dance and singing group BUDDiiS, and can be heard in the new trailer along with key moments in the story. The ending song "Suteki na Kanchigai" (A Wonderful Misunderstanding) is performed by the idol group Kurawan. The trailer reinforces the central contrast of the series: Arnold's public image as a prince without talent or ambition versus his true nature as a shadow operator who moves the pieces to secure the throne of his twin brother Leo.

The Production Team

Yuji Yanase is directed at Maho Film, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu overseeing the scripts and Kazuko Tadano in charge of character design.
