If you ever thought the industry lacked crazy stories, prepare for an overdose of destruction with a lot of elegance. The production committee behind the animated adaptation of the quirky manga Giant Ojou-sama has just revealed a new promotional image and officially confirmed that the series will hit our screens in January 2027. The project, animated by the legendary Tatsunoko Production studio, promises to bring a huge dose of chaos to start the year with one of the most absurd comedies the community has seen.

The plot of this little gem introduces us to Oriko Fujido, the young heiress of a hyper-millionaire conglomerate who, at the tender age of four, received an entire city as a birthday present. After spending years caring for and developing his beloved metropolis, a mysterious giant invader decides to strike out of nowhere. To save the day, her loyal butler and scientist, Dr. Sebastian, gives her an experimental energy drink that turns our refined protagonist into a waifu of titanic proportions. The real problem, and the absolute center of the comedy, is that its massive size usually causes exactly the same level of collateral damage as the monster itself it is trying to defeat.

The announcement was accompanied by messages full of enthusiasm from the creative team. The creator of the work, Nikumura Q, celebrated with great emotion that we will finally see his gigantic lady move and talk crushing buildings. For his part, director Hiroshi Ikehata took the opportunity to leave fans of giant girls a rather funny comment, promising that they will deliver an XL-size entertainment work and infinite twenty-size fun, and then admitting with a laugh that he himself did not know exactly what he was saying. Character design will be handled by Hajime Mitsuda, while Yutaka Sato will oversee the overall scripts.

Knowing that the concept of giant girls has a fairly loyal niche of followers on the internet
