Monster Strike The Movie: Lucifer Zetsubou no Yoake will be delayed

Director Kobun Shizuno announced that the premiere of the new animated film for the Monster Strike the Animation franchise, titled Monster Strike The Movie: Lucifer Zetsubou no Yoake, will be delayed indefinitely.


The postponement decision was made according to the instructions of the Japanese government to prevent further infections of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The official Twitter account asked fans to be patient and that the new release date will be announced as soon as it is decided.

The feature film was slated to premiere in June. For its part, the final arc of the anime Monster Strike: End of the World premiered through YouTube on November 30. This arc featured heroes Lucifer (Youko Hikasa), Arthur (Nana Mizuki), Solomon (Maaya Uchida), Noah (Souma Saitou), and Pandora (Yui Ogura).


About Monster Strike the Animation

For its part, the first season of the anime had 52 episodes and premiered in October 2015. The first part of the second season aired between April and September 2017. The second part was titled Monster Strike the Animation: The Fading Cosmos It premiered in October d e2017 and had thirteen episodes.

Subsequently, a third season premiered in July 2018 and featured twelve episodes. Subsequently, five spin-off episodes based on Arthur, seven based on Lucifer, and thirteen based on Solomon were broadcast.
