On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Daisuke Hiyama, Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan, it was reported that AT-X television will broadcast the series starting on July 11 with age restriction. Additionally, multiple television networks in Japan have listed the series with episodes of approximately fifteen minutes.
The series will premiere in Japan with a censored version on July 10, and will subsequently air an uncensored version six days after the premiere of each episode. For his part, Hiyama began publishing the manga in Futabasha publisher Manga Action magazine in July 2017. The publisher published the fifth compilation volume on January 10.
