About Senran Kagura
It is a series of video games created by Kenichiro Takaki, produced by Marvelous and largely developed by Tamsoft. The franchise focuses on a group of shinobi girls, and has been adapted for multiple manga and anime. As of August 2017, the franchise had exceeded 1.65 million copies sold, from video games alone.
The most recent installment is the game Peach Ball: Senran Kagura, released in December 2018, while the first game was Senran Kagura: Skirting Shadows, released in September 2011.
The franchise inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation titled Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash !, produced by Artland Studios, directed by Takashi Watanabe and scripts written by Takao Yoshioka, released in January 2013.
