Re: Zero reveals a new trailer for its second season starring Subaru

On the official site for the anime adaptation of light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Ootsuka, Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, a new promotional video was released for the project's second season, starring Subaru Natsuki.


The series will premiere its first half on July 8, and the second part is scheduled to premiere in January 2021.

Tappei Nagatsuki began publishing the light novels in April 2012 on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website, and Kadokawa publishing began its paper publication with illustrations by Shinichirou Otsuka in January 2014. The work has inspired multiple adaptations to manga and an anime adaptation released in April 2016. In fact, this second season was slated to premiere in April, but was delayed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production.
