On the official site for Japanese rock band FLOW it was revealed that guitarist Take has tested positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Take had already reported a fever and an altered sense of taste, so he went to the hospital. Their results were published today.

Take is currently in stable condition and no longer has a high temperature. In addition, he is receiving medical treatment and is confined at home. The guitarist commented on Twitter that the sudden onset of symptoms took him by surprise, but that they have now become less severe. In addition, the live broadcast of “Take no Creator’s Talk Vol. 2” was postponed.

On the other hand, the other members of the gang have no symptoms, but they will have to undergo medical evaluations. This is due to the fact that FLOW performed in Shibuya, Tokyo on August 7, and it was their first concert in approximately six months. Although this concert was without an audience and was transmitted through streaming platforms, it must be taken into consideration that the symptoms of COVID-19 become evident approximately two weeks after contracting the infection, so it is very likely that, at that time , Take was already infected.
