A leak of the eleventh volume of the light novels written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Monda , Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu ( Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs ), confirmed the production of a second season of the anime adaptation. Since it's a leak, there are no production details or an estimated release date.

Confirmation comes directly from the author's words at the end of the volume, who write:

  • Mylene Rapha Holfort first appears on the cover of the eleventh volume. The story is about Mylene, very popular with some readers, and some of them were surely looking forward to this volume. A second season of the anime has also been decided, so please keep supporting us!

The first season of the anime had a total of twelve episodes and was broadcast during the Spring-2022 (April-June) season , while the ENGI studios were in charge of production. For his part, Mishima began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Monda in 2017 through the Micro Magazine publisher . A manga adaptation by Jun Shiosato has been published through Fujimi Shobo 's Dra Dra Sharp# site since 2018.

Sinopsis de Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai Desu

Leon, a former Japanese office worker, has been reincarnated into the world of an otome game, and he despairs when he realizes that in this world women dominate over men. It was as if men were only stepping stones in the success of the women of this world, the only exceptions being the romantic interests of the game's protagonist, a group of beautiful men led by the crown prince of a kingdom. In these bizarre circumstances, Leon has only one weapon: his knowledge from his previous life, where his cheeky sister forced him to complete this very game. Leon, who was really just looking to lead a life in the country, begins to use this knowledge to spark a fierce revolution against the chosen women and men. The curtains open for an exciting story.
