On the official site for the Naruto multimedia franchise , it was announced that the new four-episode anime has been postponed indefinitely with the aim of "improving the final quality of the product." The production team will announce a new premiere date as soon as it is decided, and the broadcast block that had been reserved on television will be occupied by select episodes of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations .

The series was to premiere on September 3 and was scheduled to air new episodes for a total of four consecutive weeks. This new project is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the anime adaptation's premiere, while FLOW is scheduled to perform the theme songs with a new version of their song “ GO!!! ” and a cover of the Orange Range song , “ Viva Rock ”.

On the other hand, Kishimoto published the original manga through  Shueisha  's  Weekly Shonen Jump magazine  between September 1999 and November 2014, with a total of seventy-two compiled volumes. The work inspired a 220-episode anime adaptation produced by  Pierrot  Studios and originally broadcast between October 2002 and February 2007. Subsequently, a second season of 500 episodes was broadcast between February 2007 and March 2017.
