On the
official site for the anime adaptation of the manga by Muneyuki
Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura , “ Blue Lock ”, it was
announced that the second season of the project will premiere during
Fall-2024 (October-December) in Japan. This statement comes after the
broadcast of the spin-off film “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” in theaters.
On the other
hand, Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura have
published the manga in Kodansha 's Weekly
Shonen Magazine since August 2018. The first season of twenty-four
episodes premiered during the Fall-2022 season (October-December) ,
followed by the movie “ Blue Lock: Episode Nagi “, released in
April of this year.

Synopsis
The story
begins with the elimination of the Japan National Team from the 2018 FIFA World
Cup, which prompts the Japan Football Union to start a training program to
prepare a team of high school students who will participate in the 2022 World
Cup. Isagi Yoichi, a forward, receives an invitation to join this program
shortly after his team misses a chance to participate in the Nationals, due to
passing the ball to his less skilled teammate, who obviously He missed the
shot, which showed Isagi's cowardice in not daring to finish the play by
himself.
Their
coach will be Ego Jinpachi, who intends to put an end to the idea of “weak
Japan in football” by applying a radical new training regime: isolating 300
young forwards in a prison-like institution called “Blue Lock”, and subjecting
them to to rigorous training that will create “the greatest, most talented and
selfish striker in the world.”
