On the official site for the anime adaptation of the
light novels “ Unnamed Memory ”, a new
promotional video for the second season of the project was revealed. The video
confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 7, 2025 in Japan ,
and lists a snippet of the musical themes, which include:
- TRUE will
perform the opening theme song “ Unsung Ballad ,”
while Arika will perform the ending theme song “ Inclusion .”
Unfortunately, the adaptation has been widely
criticized for failing to properly adapt the content or “compressing it too
much,” something that has characterized recent productions from ENGI studios
such as “ Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru .” and “ Trapped in
a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs .”
Kuji Furumiya began
publishing the story in 2008, and it was later published on the Shousetsuka
ni Narou service in September 2012. It later began publication in paperback
through Kadokawa 's Dengeki
no Shinbungei imprint in January 2019, and ended in April 2021
with six volumes. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Naoki Etsumi has
been published in Kadokawa 's Dengeki Daioh magazine
since September 2020.
Unnamed Memory Synopsis
