In previous news , it was announced that the
anime adaptation of the light novels " Let This Grieving Soul
Retire! ( Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai )" will
have a second season , although without a confirmed release date. The
author expressed his excitement for this continuation and thanked everyone
involved in the project.
Now, the
official website has revealed a promotional teaser for the second season, which
only includes production footage with key frames. It was also
confirmed that the new season will premiere in Fall 2025 (October-December).

- Tsukikage and Chiiko began
publishing the light novels in August 2018 through Micro Magazine .
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Rai Hebino , began
publication in April 2019 through Kadokawa 's ComicWalker .
- The voice cast includes Kensho
Ono as Krai Andrey, Miyu Kubota as Tino
Shade, Haruka Shiraishi as Lapis Fulgor, Yuu
Serizawa as Kris Argent, Satomi Amano as Chloe
Welter, and Hana Hishikawa as Éclair Gladis.
- On the other hand, the
production team is composed of Masahiro Takata (direction
at Zero-G studios), Hideki Shirane (script writing and
supervision), Shingo Fujisaki and Yuusuke Isouchi (character
design and animation direction), Ryouhei Sakata (soundtrack
composition).
- The first season aired in Fall
2024 (October-December), with a total of 13 episodes. The synopsis is
about Krai Andrey, a leader of a group of treasure hunters in the imperial
capital of Zebrudia, who explore dungeons in search of riches. Although
Krai is considered the strongest, his achievements are actually due to
surpassing his friends, as he has no special abilities. Despite
wanting to leave the group for fear that his lack of skills will endanger
his companions, he feels compelled to remain the leader.
