During the
Anime Expo 2024 event, producer Yuki Watanabe of Pony Canyon
surprised us by revealing that the second season of " Mato Seihei
no Slave ( Chained Soldier )" will be
produced by Passione studios , leaving behind Seven Arcs, the studio
that was in charge of the first season. This change of studio comes as a
surprise to many, especially since the first season didn't receive bad reviews.
Now, Pony
Canyon has revealed more details about the upcoming season: the new
main cast, key visuals, and a 2026 release date have been revealed. This
time, the director will be Masafumi Tamura , known for his
work on "The World's Finest Assassin," "Ange Vierge," and
"Wise Man's Grandchild," while Keiya Nakano , famous
for "AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue" and
"Keijo!!!!!!!!," will be in charge of the character designs.
Additionally, Kana Hanazawa joins the cast as the voice of Ren
Yamashiro.
This
change of crew and studio is raising expectations about what the new season of "Mato
Seihei no Slave" will hold.

2024 (January–March) with twelve episodes produced by Seven Arcs.
The manga, written by Takahiro (Akame ga Kill!) and
illustrated by Takemura , has been published

- The story follows Yuuki Wakura,
a student trapped in the Mato, a dimension where dangerous monsters and a
special power unique to women have emerged. Rescued by Kyouka
Uzen, leader of the Anti-Demon Corps, Yuuki agrees to become her
"slave" to aid her in battle.
