A
promotional video for the project has been revealed on the official
website for the anime adaptation of Ryou Hiromatsu 's light
novels " Busamen Gachi Fighter ( Uglymug,
Epicfighter )". The video confirms that the premiere is
scheduled for the Summer 2025 period (July-September) in Japan , and
lists production details and the voice cast.
For his
part, Ryou Hiromatsu began publishing the story on the
independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2015, and ended it
in October 2022, while the Kobunsha publishing house has been
in charge of its paperback publication since 2018. A manga adaptation by Osamu
Kozuki was published through Square Enix 's Monthly
Big Gangan magazine in 2017, and ended it in 2020 with a total of six
volumes.

Wrongly
convicted of a crime, 34-year-old Shigeru Yoshioka loses everything, including
his confidence in women, and withdraws from society as an unemployed hermit.
One day, he stumbles upon a way to travel to another world. When a mysterious
status screen appears on his computer, Shigeru sacrifices his appearance to
obtain an overwhelming number of 100 trillion and 5,100 parameters. Now reborn
as an "Absolute God," he begins his second life in another world.
