Shueisha 's Shonen Jump+ platform announced
last Tuesday that Daichi Kawada 's Blooming Love ( Hanninmae
no Koibito ) manga will be on hiatus for three chapters due
to the author's personal commitments and household responsibilities.
The series,
a romantic comedy with school overtones, has gained popularity since its
release in May 2023. The manga currently has five
compiled volumes , the latest of which was published on March
4 in Japan.
A love
story between art and crafts
The story
follows a young art student who, while making school supplies in the arts and
crafts classroom, encounters an intimidating-looking girl who keeps staring at
him. Thus begins a peculiar and humorous romantic battle between a
craft-savvy girl and a boy passionate about art .
The series
is officially available in English through Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform
. The exact restart date has not yet been confirmed, but Kawada is expected to
resume publishing once his commitments are resolved.
Fans will
have to be patient while they wait for the return of this charming student
comedy.
