DXTEEN will set the mood for the anime Fermat no Ryōri with their ending theme.

This  Thursday, May 16 , the production team of the anime Fermat no Ryōri (also known as Fermat's Cuisine ) announced that the musical group DXTEEN will be in charge of performing the series ' ending theme song . Although the title of the song has not yet been revealed, the news has generated excitement among the group's fans and followers of the original manga.



A story that unites cooking and mathematics


The story follows Gaku Kitada , a young math prodigy who, after suffering a series of personal setbacks, meets Kai Asakura , a young chef with innate talent. Together, they embark on a new culinary project that blends mathematical precision and culinary creativity.


Premiere confirmed for July in Japan


The anime will premiere in July 2025 on TV Asahi and 23 other affiliated broadcasters, within the late-night "IMAnimation" programming block that airs on Saturday nights , in local Japanese time.


The film is directed by Takeshi Okamoto and Satsuki Kashiwagi , with Miyuki Kaieda serving as assistant director. Domerica is in charge of animation and is also involved in series composition and script writing. The original music will be composed by Satoshi Igarashi .


The manga and its author


Fermat no Ryōri is a work by mangaka Yūgo Kobayashi , also known for his successful manga Aoashi . This new project was launched in September 2018 through Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine . To date, it has five volumes published, the most recent released on April 30 , and has more than 23 million copies in circulation .


On the other hand, Aoashi has been a huge success in the sports genre. Inspired by an original story by Naohiko Ueno , it won the Best General Manga award at the 65th Shogakukan Manga Awards . Its anime adaptation premiered in April 2022 , and a second season is slated for 2026 .


Backed by an original story, solid production, and DXTEEN's charisma, Fermat no Ryōri promises to be one of the freshest surprises of the summer season in Japan.
