Investing in the forex market with no prior
experience is usually the quickest path to financial ruin, but for this
protagonist it is a personal mission. The long-awaited animated
adaptation of the popular manga FX Fighter Kurumi-chan (FX
Senshi Kurumi-chan), written by Demunyan and illustrated
by Daisuki Tansan, has officially confirmed that it will premiere
on Japanese television next October. The news came with a new
promotional visual, a special trailer, and the reveal of key members for the
voice cast.
The story introduces us to Kurumi Fukuga, a
university student who decides to enter the ruthless foreign exchange (FX)
market with a single goal: to recover the twenty million yen that her late
mother lost by investing in the same system. Convinced that recovering the
money will be child's play, Kurumi immerses herself fully in a volatile
environment where fortune and absolute ruin are separated by a mere second.
Unrealized losses, forced liquidations and uncontrollable tachycardia accompany
this young woman as she meets other players in the market in a dangerous game
of chance where the graphs do not stop rising and falling.
Passione leads this intense production
The project will be animated by the
renowned Passione studio under the direction of Yuki
Ogawa. The supervision and writing of the general scripts will fall to
Kenta Ihara, while Kazuyuki Ueda will adapt the character
designs and Takuro Iga will compose the soundtrack. It was also
confirmed that voice actress Aina Suzuki will not only play
the protagonist, but will also lend her voice to the closing theme titled
"$・¥・€". The printed work began
publication in Kadokawa's Comic Flapper magazine in February
2021 and already has nine volumes on the market, becoming a highly commented
read within the community for its raw representation of
trading.
