A story
of two misplaced souls
The story
centers on Tōji , a 20-year-old young man who becomes famous
after an event in his past and, in order to avoid attracting attention, begins
taking jobs where he can go unnoticed and keep human contact
to a minimum. During a shift at a supermarket, Tōji helps a customer and thus
meets Sakuya , a mysterious girl with a special ability: the
“Super Eye” , which allows her to remember absolutely everything she
sees.
Despite her
extraordinary abilities, Sakuya has struggled to fit in at school .
Unexpectedly, the two young people, each with their own social scars, end
up living together under the same roof, beginning a story of
coexistence, emotional connection, and redemption.
Narumi's
legacy continues to grow
Naru Narumi
has made his mark on the industry with titles such as Ramen Daisuki
Koizumi-san , a work centered on the love of ramen noodles that
inspired an anime adaptation in 2018 , as well as several
live-action series between 2015 and 2020.
His most
recent work, Watari-kun no xx ga Hōkaisunzen ,
originally ran in Young Ace in 2014 and concluded in September
2023 following its move to Monthly Young Magazine . The manga is
getting an anime adaptation premiering in July , further cementing the
relevance of Narumi's work in today's landscape.
With Norainu
to Tenshi-chan , Narumi promises to offer a new vision on
loneliness, empathy and healing , through an intimate story that is
sure to resonate with fans of human drama and romantic comedy.
