Production Team with Experience in the Supernatural

Hiroshi Ishiodori (Kiss Him, Not Me, Peach Girl, RINNE 3) is directing at Brains Base Studio. Shinzō Fujita (To Your Eternity, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children) is overseeing the scripts, while Yōko Tanabe (Tonari no Yōkai-san) is in charge of character design. The music is by Tomoki Hasegawa (Cherry Magic!, NANA).

A supernatural mystery with very Japanese humor

The original manga, published by Kodansha since April 2021 in Morning magazine, tells the strange experiences of university students Magi and Yaeko. It all begins when they see a Kōjien dictionary fall on a man's head. Although he's bleeding, he asks them not to call the police or an ambulance. From that moment on, they both begin to experience supernatural phenomena.

The series combines mystery, absurd humor, and paranormal elements, following the author's other works such as Hozuki no Reitetsu. The tenth volume of the manga will be released in Japan on July 23. With a plot that blends the bizarre with the existential, Dekin no Mogura promises to be one of the most curious and original offerings of the summer.
