The song can already be partially heard in the new promotional video published.

New voices join the cast

Among the new cast members are:

  • Masaya Matsukaze as the Mikadono sisters' father
  • Ai Kayano as Subaru Ayase, mother of the protagonist Yū.

Release date confirmed

The series is scheduled to premiere on July 10 at 00:30 (Spain time) on the Japanese channels Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV and BS11. It will also be issued in MBS. For its part, Crunchyroll will offer simultaneous streaming with Japan and will also have English dubbing.

The story revolves around Yū Ayase, a young man who inherits only the physical attractiveness of his mother, Subaru Ayase, a brilliant woman in every way. When Yū is enrolled in an elite school, he is sent to live with three sisters of the Mikadono family, close friends of his mother. The three girls possess outstanding talents, but they also display vulnerabilities that Yū will discover while living under the same roof.

The direction is in charge of Tadahito Matsubayashi at the P.A. Works studio, with Yūsuke Inoue as character designer. The scripts are supervised by Takayo Ikami, while Masaru Yokoyama is in charge of the soundtrack and Jin Aketagawa is in charge of the sound direction.

A manga that is growing in popularity

Aya Hirakawa's original manga began publication in December 2021 in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. To date, the work has 14 compilation volumes, the last one being published on June 18.

With an attractive visual style, charismatic characters and a narrative full of humor and romance, Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi is emerging as one of the strong bets of this summer season.
