This
weekend, the official website for Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai's
anime adaptation, Choroi (international title: Dealing
with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze), announced a new batch of information
that includes the opening theme, a new promotional trailer, new
characters, and a main visual.
The anime's
theme song will be titled "Kimi ni Fusawashii Kiseki" ("A
Miracle Worthy of You"), and will be performed by the popular group MAISONdes,
known for collaborating with prominent artists on the Japanese scene. The song
can already be partially heard in the new promotional video published.
New
voices join the cast
Among the
new cast members are:
- Masaya Matsukaze as the Mikadono sisters'
father
- Ai Kayano as Subaru Ayase,
mother of the protagonist Yū.
Release
date confirmed
The series
is scheduled to premiere on July 10 at 00:30 (Spain time) on
the Japanese channels Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV and BS11. It
will also be issued in MBS. For its part, Crunchyroll will
offer simultaneous streaming with Japan and will also have English
dubbing.
The story
revolves around Yū Ayase, a young man who inherits only the
physical attractiveness of his mother, Subaru Ayase, a brilliant
woman in every way. When Yū is enrolled in an elite school, he is sent to live
with three sisters of the Mikadono family, close friends of his mother. The
three girls possess outstanding talents, but they also display vulnerabilities
that Yū will discover while living under the same roof.
The
direction is in charge of Tadahito Matsubayashi at the
P.A. Works studio, with Yūsuke Inoue as character
designer. The scripts are supervised by Takayo Ikami, while Masaru
Yokoyama is in charge of the soundtrack and Jin Aketagawa is
in charge of the sound direction.
A manga
that is growing in popularity
Aya
Hirakawa's original
manga began publication in December 2021 in Shogakukan's Weekly
Shonen Sunday magazine. To date, the work has 14 compilation
volumes, the last one being published on June 18.
With an attractive visual style, charismatic characters and a narrative full of humor and romance, Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi is emerging as one of the strong bets of this summer season.
