The fantasy comedy The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl is about to close its crazy first season, and it does so with a final trailer that promises strong emotions and a farewell full of energy. The final episode will air this Sunday, June 22 (local time in Japan), marking the end of an adventure that did not go unnoticed.

After twelve episodes of comic mayhem and outsized powersSophia Reeler's character—a shy noblewoman who chose the blessing of the Gorilla God—bids farewell to audiences with a visual homage that highlights how far she's come since her unexpected rise as an elite warrior.

A production that combines humor, action and fantasy

The anime is directed by Fumitoshi Oizaki (Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army) under the production of the Kachigarasu studio. The screenplay is by Hitomi Amemiya (A Condition Called Love), with Sakae Shibuya (Deaimon) in charge of character design and music composed by Seima Iwahashi (Quality Assurance in Another World).

The original work comes from a web novel written by Shirohi, with a manga adaptation illustrated by Mika Kamisu. Since its premiere, it has stood out for its unique approach, combining brute force with school situations and a very peculiar sense of humor.

A heroine too powerful for a quiet life

The plot follows Sophia Reeler, a young noblewoman who, upon receiving the blessing of the Gorilla God, gains unparalleled strength. Although her goal was to live a peaceful school life, her power quickly makes her a target for royal knights. Between homework, military training, and her own social awkwardness, Sophia discovers that having superhuman strength doesn't guarantee an easy life.

The anime is available on Crunchyroll, a platform that has broadcast the series simultaneously with Japan, and which defines this story as "an explosive comedy about the price of being too powerful to live quietly".

With this farewell trailer, The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl is positioned as one of the most original comedies of the season, leaving open the possibility of a comeback... or at least, of more gorilla-like chaos.
