The highly
anticipated anime adaptation of the romantic comedy There's No
Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless… has been confirmed for Japanese
release on July 7 at 6:00 PM (UTC+2) , according to its new
promotional trailer.
The preview
also featured the musical themes that will accompany this story of romance
between girls : the opening titled “Muri Muri
Evolution” , performed by Nanaoakari (known for the
opening of Happy Sugar Life ), and the ending “Mayocchauwa” by
the group Philosophy no Dance , who previously collaborated
on MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES .
What
happens when faking a romance becomes real?
The series
follows Renako Amaori , a shy student who wants to reinvent
herself as she enters high school. But her plan takes an unexpected turn when
she meets Mai Oduka , an outgoing and charismatic model who,
after an instant connection, makes a sincere confession of love .
Caught between the idea of an ideal friendship and Mai's growing affection,
Renako is forced to confront a much more chaotic reality: three
relationships at once—one fake, one real, and a love competition .

is directed by Natsumi Uchinuma ( More than a Married
Couple, but Not Lovers. ) at MOTHER . Naruhisa
Arakawa ( This Art Club Has a Problem! ) is composing
the series, kojikoji is designing the characters, and Yoshiaki
Fujisawa ( Mushoku Tensei ) is composing the music.
The anime is based on the original light novels by Teren Mikami and Eku
Takeshima .
