Boxxo is back with new forms, new
allies, and more adventures in his strange life as a vending machine. The
second season of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon is
now on air, and with it also comes new musical themes that promise to accompany
this eccentric story with energy and emotion.
A bubbly
opening and an emotional ending
The opening
theme is titled "Mirai Cider", performed by the
band BRADIO, and combines an upbeat rhythm with animations
that include the credits as part of the video, maintaining the dynamic
aesthetic of the series.
On the
other hand, the closing theme is "Boku dake no Chiheisen", performed
by Aina Aiba. This uncredited version offers a more immersive
visual experience that highlights the more emotional and reflective tone of the
ending.
A
production as unusual as its protagonist
This second
season is directed by Takashi Yamamoto (Tsuredure Children)
and produced by Studio Gokumi and AxsiZ studios.
The series is composed by Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway
Paladin), while Takahiro Sakai and Naoki Yamauchi are
in charge of character design. The original story comes from the light novels
written by Kuma Hiru and illustrated by Itsuwa Kato.
A new
life inside a vending machine
The story
introduces us to Boxxo, a man who after dying in an accident
reincarnates as a vending machine with a conscience. Although he can see and
hear, he cannot move or speak beyond his programmed phrases. However, with
ingenuity and help, he finds ways to survive and make a real impact in his new
world.
The second
season promises to further expand the universe of this unlikely hero, with new
characters, dangers, and many more features that one would never imagine
finding in a simple vending machine.
