Hell Teacher Nube anime reveals Hiroko Kiso as the terrifying Teke Teke

This Thursday, July 25, the production team of the new anime Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Cloud announced that voice actress Hiroko Kiso will play Teke Teke, a famous figure of Japanese urban folklore. The character will make his appearance in episode 6, scheduled to air on August 6.



A legendary comeback with a stellar cast


The anime, based on the manga by Shō Makura and Takeshi Okano, premiered on July 2 with a special one-hour episode through TV Asahi's new "IM Animation W" block. Since then, the episodes have been broadcast weekly every Tuesday at 16:45 (UTC+2). The series will feature two cours (seasons), with the second part scheduled for January 2026.

High-level production

The series is directed by Yasuyuki Ōishi (Stars Align) at Studio KAI, with Fumito Yamada serving as assistant director. The main script is by Yoshiki Ōkusa, while the character design is done by Yū Yoshiyama. The music is composed by Evan Call, known for his work on Violet Evergarden and My Happy Marriage. The opening theme "P0WER-AkuryoTaisan-" is performed by SKS- ZIGZAG, and the closing theme "Sunflower" is performed by the group Chilli Beans.

The series is available on Netflix for territories in Asia (excluding Japan and China), as well as on the It's Anime YouTube channel in select areas such as the US and Canada. In Latin America, Anime Onegai has the broadcasting rights. It is also available on regional platforms such as aniverse (DACH zone) and Anime Generation (Italy), and on MOD and Hami Video in Taiwan.


A classic that never dies


The original manga, published between 1993 and 1999 in Weekly Shonen Jump, has more than 29 million copies in circulation. His impact led him to inspire an anime series (1996-1997), three films, an OVA series, and a live-action adaptation in 2014. Now, with this new remake, Cloud is once again facing the darkest mysteries that haunt his students.
