The
official site of the upcoming Wash It All Away anime has
released a new seasonal visual for the summer, which shows
protagonist Wakana Kinme strolling through Atami Shinsui Park,
located in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This location is the main setting
where the story takes place.

Details and Equipment
The
animated adaptation of the slice-of-life manga by Mitsuru Hattori (author
of Sankarea) is scheduled to premiere in 2026. Actress Sayumi
Suzushiro will play Wakana Kinme, while Kenta Onishi will
be directed. The script and composition of the series will be the
responsibility of Toko Machida, with character design by Azuma
Tozawa. The production will be carried out by the Okuruto Noboru studio.
Synopsis
of the original manga
The
original manga, published by Square Enix in Young
Gangan magazine between 2017 and 2023, has ten compilation volumes.
The story follows Wakana Kinme, who for two years has run a laundry
service in the tourist seaside town of Atami. His business, Kinme
Cleaning, is well-loved by locals, who value Wakana's dedication.
Despite not
knowing her own past, Wakana protects the memories kept by the objects she
cleans, establishing ties with the community and enjoying life among friends
and the hot springs.
