Petals of Reincarnation Confirms Premiere with New Trailer and Visual Art

During an official update, a new trailer for the Petals of Reincarnation anime was unveiled, along with key illustration and the announcement of its premiere in Japan for 2026. The production, based on the original manga by Mikihisa Konishi, also revealed its main cast and the creative team behind this long-awaited television adaptation.



A voice cast that promises intensity


The main cast is made up of:


  • Shoya Chiba as Toya Senji
  • Wakana Maruoka as Haito Luo Buffett
  • Ayane Sakura as John V. Neumann

A production team with prominent names


The anime is being developed by animation studio BENTEN Film and is directed by Shun Kudo. The script is in charge of Atsuo Ishino, while Haruno Kato designs the characters. The original music will be composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO, recognized for his work in other renowned series.


A story of reincarnation, sacrifice and redemption


The original manga is published in Mag Garden's Mag Comi magazine, while its English version is available through Mangomo. According to the official synopsis, the plot revolves around Toya Senji, a young man who feels completely useless in everything he tries. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Haito, a kendo champion and mysterious protector of humanity. Haito uses a power known as the Stem of Reincarnation, which allows him to summon the abilities of his past lives... but it only works if you cut your throat. Now, she wants Toya to join her cause.


Visual art that captures chaos and power



The key illustration featured shows the three protagonists—Toya, Haito, and John—in dramatic poses, surrounded by floating petalsdigital displays, and an atmosphere charged with supernatural energy. Each wields weapons or deploys abilities that anticipate the intensity of the series.


Petals of Reincarnation also confirmed its broadcast on HIDIVE for the United States, although its international availability for other regions such as Spain or Latin America has not yet been detailed.
