About the original work

The manga Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Cloud, created by Sho Makura and Takeshi Okano, was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between 1993 and 1999, bringing together a total of 31 volumes published in Japan.

The animated adaptation is directed by Yasuyuki Oishi at Studio KAI, with Yoshiki Okusa in charge of series composition, Yuu Yoshiyama in character design, and Evan Call on the soundtrack.

A little of its history

The story follows the city of Domori, plagued by unexplained supernatural phenomena. To protect the children, a new teacher known as Cloud arrives. Although he is usually friendly and approachable, he hides a big secret: he is the only psychic teacher in Japan, and his left hand is possessed by a demon.

As a messenger of justice, Cloud faces the seven school mysteries, ghosts, and evil spirits that haunt his students. Thus begins this story of action with tinges of occultism.
