Publishing's Comic
Ran Twins magazine announced that the manga Kamuya Ride,
the work of Masato Hisa, will come to an end with the publication
of its 13th volume on September 20 (local
time in Spain). The work had moved its serialization to the Comic
Border website in September 2024, starting there with its chapter 59.
A story
of gods, heroes and rebellions
Set in a
fantastical version of Japan's Kofun period, the plot is set
200 years after the Yamato princes achieved peace by defeating the clans of
earthly gods and sealing their power. However, the seals begin to break,
stoking a new conflict.
Kawakami
Takeru, rebel
leader of the Kumaso, gains superhuman powers after freeing one of these gods.
Faced with the threat, Prince Ousu—who would be remembered as
Emperor Yamato Takeru—marches with the imperial army to stop him. On his way he
meets Monko, a Haniwa statue seller capable of transforming
into Kamuya Ride, a hero with the strength to face the earthly
gods.
